Alejandro Vergara and Cian White were PhD researchers in Dublin, focused on emissions reduction and biodiversity in agriculture. Before building anything, they surveyed 300 farmers, and found the same story everywhere: mounting climate pressure, tightening regulation, and no tools built to help.
Led by Carbery, BiOrbic, and Irish universities, Farm Zero C set out to build Europe's first climate-neutral dairy farm. Alejandro measured the carbon footprint. Cian restored biodiversity. Emissions fell, biodiversity grew from 7.5% to 10%, and productivity held steady.
ODOS Tech was founded in 2021 to turn that research into a platform. Today, we help livestock companies across Europe and beyond reduce emissions, improve productivity, measure biodiversity, and plan a credible path to net-zero.
